Experienced podiatry for the whole family

FAQ

Do you require a referral?

No referral is required to visit your podiatrist. Simply phone up and one of our friendly receptionists will make an appointment for you.
However, if you have a gold card or podiatry-related white card issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), you will require a referral from your GP. There will be no out of pocket expense. WorkCover cases will also require a medical referral, with no out of pocket expense pending approval by your WorkCover case worker.

Do you accept private health funds?

Yes we accept private health funds. We also have HICAPS facilities for immediate claiming.

Who do you see?

Our podiatrists are experienced in all aspects of podiatry, including general foot and nail care, paediatrics, and sports podiatry.

Am I covered under Medicare?

Medicare will rebate a portion of your consult if you are referred by your GP under an Enhanced Primary Care plan. Your GP will be able to determine your eligibility for this. Please phone our clinic if you require any further information.

How long will it take?

Most of our appointments will take 30 minutes. If more extensive treatment is required, such as ingrown toenail surgery or casting for orthotics, a longer appointment may be required.

Do you provide orthotics?

Our podiatrists are trained and able to provide custom orthotics. We use a 3D scanner which is the most efficient way to acquire an image of your foot. We perform a thorough biomechanical examination and gait analysis to determine your specific requirements. Please phone our clinic for further information on our orthotic process and costing.
